About Sean Pihl
Sean has appeared at the Provincial, Supreme and Appellate Court levels, in addition to his extensive arbitration and mediation experience. He has volunteered as a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus) and has presented at educational seminars on a variety of legal topics. In 2016, Sean received his designation of King’s Counsel, recognizing distinctive merit and exceptional contributions to the legal profession. Sean practices exclusively in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment and labour law, and construction/commercial litigation.
Sean’s volunteer background has focused primarily on community and professional development, He currently serves as a Director of SICA. He has previously served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for The Canadian Mental Health Association (Okanagan), The Kelowna Hospital Foundation, and The Thompson Okanagan Telus Community Board
About Rosie Jacobs
Rosie has a general civil litigation practice with a primary focus on construction law. She has extensive experience assisting clients navigate complex problems that arise before, during and after a construction projects, including advising developers on contentious development permit applications or walking contractors through the steps to terminate a contract partway through a build.
Rosie has regularly appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Court levels. She is also the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association of British Columbia’s Civil Litigation (Okanagan) Section.
