SICA is hosting our Annual Trap & Skeet Event on June 25th!

We invite you to join us for a night of shooting, steaks, and fun! Seriously, this is one of our favourite events of the year! We hope you can join us! This event is open to Members and non-members. BONUS Station – Cash Only

Want to try something different? Bring cash and try out the Gun Club’s extra FUN station! For $1.50 per shot, you can try your hand at different variations of target presentations, such as: crossers, straight up in the air, quartering, or maybe even a “rabbit” – comes out low and bounces along the ground from side to side! This station does NOT count towards the competition score and is not included in your registration, so please bring some cash to be able to pay the Gun Club directly.

Directions

Directions from Highway 1 & 5

Take the Copperhead Rd. exit and head south to Frontage Rd. (across from Versatile Petro-Can).
Take a right on Frontage Rd., travel ~2.2km to Lac Le Jeune Rd.
Continue on Lac Le Jeune Rd. for ~4km.
Turn right onto Skeet Club Rd. (look for the Kamloops Shotgun Sports sign).
Continue for 1.5km to club (stay on main road).

Club Information

Guns provided but you are also welcome to bring to your own if you choose.
Shooters must wear eye and hearing protection; while there are usually ear plugs available, there are a limited number of safety glasses, and shooters are encouraged to bring their own. Note: prescription eyeglasses will be considered adequate eye protection.
Safety is paramount, shooters will follow all directions from Gun Club members including, but not limited to, proper handling of guns and ammunition and wearing of appropriate safety gear.
As the Gun Club is located at a higher elevation, temperatures will be lower than in town – you may wish to bring a jacket/sweater. The event will proceed regardless of weather.
